The Paediatric Society of Queensland was established in 1949 by a group of pioneering clinicians who recognised the need for a dedicated forum for doctors committed to the clinical care, safety, welfare and preventive health of children.

Membership is open to clinicians across the many disciplines involved in child health, working in hospitals, private practice, community settings, and general practice.

The society hosts an annual educational meeting, providing paediatricians and trainees from Queensland and Australasia with the opportunity to network, connect with subspecialists, learn about services and emerging clinical issues, and maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge.

The Paediatric Society of Queensland (Incorporated) is a craft group of the Queensland Branch of the Australian Medical Association.
